Convergence
Take the (as always, free) Coursera class called Buddhism and Modern Psychology.
-Note: I've tried out several Coursera classes, and this has been the best one so far. Really listen to what he's saying.
Read Jonathan Haidt's The Righteous Mind
-Note: He's so great. Check out his TED Talks too - here's one of them that really advertises this book.

Read Alan Watts' The Wisdom of Insecurity.
Seriously, do this. Then email me.
